EMPLOYMENT The Sheboygan Theatre Company currently employs a variety of trained professional staff to ensure a quality theatre education for our audiences and participants. These positions include:
OPEN POSITIONS BELOW TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR (Sound & Lighting) WANTED The Sheboygan Theatre Company of Sheboygan, WI is looking to hire a part-time technical supervisor for its current season. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established community theatre company. This person will primarily supervise the sound department, and also supervise the lighting department. Education and experience in sound is a requirement. Education and experience in theatre and lighting are preferred. Duties include supervising and training volunteers to design, setup, and run the equipment. The position reports to the Production Manager and works with the Artistic Director. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. The work will be part-time, with an average of 19 hours per week, with some weeks off. The majority of the work is weeknights and some weekends. The contract will end in June, 2011, and may be extended. This is a new position and may be available for immediate hire after August 4th, 2010. Salary is $160 per week. Housing & transportation are not included. The deadline for resume submissions is September 17, 2010. TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR (Scenery, Costumes & Makeup) WANTED The Sheboygan Theatre Company of Sheboygan, WI is looking to hire a part-time technical supervisor for its current season. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established community theatre company. This person will primarily supervise the scenery including set construction, painting, properties and the running crew. The position will also supervise the costumes and makeup. Education and experience in creating theatrical scenery is required. Education and experience in theatre, costumes, and makeup is preferred. Duties include supervising and training volunteers to: build scenery, paint scenery, do properties, and be on running crews for a show. The position reports to the Production Manager and works with the Artistic Director. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. The work will be part-time, with an average of 19 hours per week, with some weeks off. The majority of the work is weeknights and some weekends. This position has been reopened for new candidates to apply. The contract will start October 11th, 2010, end in June, 2011, and may be extended. Salary is $160 per week.
