Times have certainly changed for the physically and mentally challenged since Annie Sullivan first worked her miracle on Helen Keller. And their circumstances are much improved since this powerful drama first appeared on Broadway. But it’s appropriate for each generation to re-visit the inspirational story about two American women who can certainly be called heroines, if not saints.
